Designed to give a more realistic impression of engaging a human
target during live-fire training. 'Bad Bob' is unique in that only a shot to the vital
areas of the target's head, neck and chest will cause it to go down (only a shot to the
head on HeadShot Bob). Depending on the scenario, the target can be adjusted by the turn
of a screw to fall when shot by a .22 bullet or from repeated hits from a .45, simulating
the resistance of a person on drugs or one wearing body armor. This feature now allows for
interactive double-tap and failure-to-stop drills that cannot be duplicated by other
target systems. Any type of pistol ammunition can be used, however hollow points will
degrade the life span of foam faster. Shotguns may also be used, but a special steel plate
is required for slugs. Always follow safe range procedures. |
