Designed to give a more realistic impression of engaging a human target
during live-fire training. 'Bad Bob' is unique in that only a shot to the
vital areas of the target's head, neck and chest will cause it to go down or
if configured to Head Shot Bob then only a shot to the head will drop him.
Depending on the scenario, the target can be adjusted by the turn of a screw
to fall when shot by a .22 bullet or from repeated hits from a .45,
simulating the resistance of a person on drugs or one wearing body armor.
This feature now allows for interactive double-tap and failure-to-stop
drills that cannot be duplicated by other target systems. Any type of pistol
ammunition can be used, however hollow points will degrade the life span of
foam faster. Shotguns may also be used, but a special steel plate is

Bad Bob Details
Designed to give a more realistic impression of engaging a human target
during live fire training that will respond in much the same way as when a
real human target is shot.
Because it is designed to represent a 6 foot human target it can be dressed
to simulate any gender or ethnic nationality to meet scenario re-enactment
or tactical training demands.
To increase the amount of realism, masks, wigs, caps and clothing can be
used to dress the target. Guns, knives, purses, cameras, etc. can also be
used to allow for "shoot don't shoot" scenarios.
Used by itself or in multiples, this target system is unique in that only a
shot to the vital area of the target head, neck and chest will cause it to
go down. Depending on the scenario, the target can be adjusted by the turn

Simple to operate in that once the target has been knocked over, all that a
person has to do is set the target back up-no tying of strings, blowing into
rubber balloons or balancing acts as required by other target systems.
Highly portable, it can be set up anywhere inside, outside, crowded streets,
and open fields the target comes complete with its own stand attached that
easily comes apart for transportation purposes.
Utilizing a unique design, the foam part of the target ha a shot life of
5000+ rounds, which makes it more economical than paper and cardboard
targets. In addition, the foam is environmental friendly (as you will have
matter shoot out the back of the target were the bullet passes through) in
that the foam is biodegradable and recyclable. Using a reactive steel plate
directly behind the vital area of the target allows for immediate
identification of a hit in the vital zone. If the bullet hits the foam
target yet fails to hit the steel plate, the target will remain standing
letting the shooter know that it is still a threat. As with any steel
target, ricochets and bullet spatter are a hazard, however, with the foam
silhouette property in place the bullet matter lacks sufficient force to
penetrate the specially formulated 4 inches of densely constructed form thus
virtually eliminating any danger of bullet matter coming back to the firing
line, this in no means though should replace safe range procedures.
Any type of pistol ammunition can be used to shoot at bad Bob, of course
hollow points will degrade the life span of the foam faster than ball
ammunition. Shotguns may also be used (a special steel plate is required for
slugs) again depending on the size of the shot and the distance from which
fired will determine how long the foam lasts.
The Head Shot Bob target comes with a removable plate in the target which
allows the chest impact plate to be removed, so only the Head impact plate
remains. This plate forces the shooter to hit the head before the target
will go down. This allows the shooter to address taking down bad guys
wearing body armor.
